NAFO Global Kuwait held its Onam gathering NALLONAM 2023 in Salmiya Indian Model School (SIMS) auditorium on Friday 22nd February 2023. The event was marked by cultural programs by the members, traditional Kerala feast and an orchestra.
The program began by lighting of the traditional lamp and prayer, followed by national anthems of Kuwait and India. Procession accompanied with chenda melam was the highlight of the inaugural ceremony.
NAFO had earmarked 20 iconic projects “Sneha Sparsham” to be implemented in the next few years and the projects were launched at the event.
Ladies wing members presented traditional dance and children showcased their talent on stage. Cultural programs included a satirical play which was staged by NAFO members.
The event also marked the launch of promo for NAFO 20th anniversary celebrations, “Megham”, scheduled for 3rd November 2023 at the American International School, Maidan Hawally.
Traditional Ona Satya was served at noon for all the attendees and an orchestra enthralled the audience in the latter part of the event. As the orchestra performed their last song, the NAFO NALLONAM 2023 celebrations ended.
