NAFO conducted the inaugural ceremony of NAFO online Kalotsavam 2021 (cultural competition) celebrations. The ceremony commenced with the prayer by Nivedita Anil Kumar. The online show schematized by the association was presided by the NAFO president Sri. C.P.Rajiv Menon. Renowned Mohiniyattom Dancer Smt.Gopika Varma and member of Travancore Royal family inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp from her residence in the Kowdiar palace. The main attraction was the online interactive session with Smt.Gopika Varma in which she shared her inspirational thoughts and advise to upcoming NAFO children about Mohiniyattam , life style in Royal Palace of Travancore and shared her few beautiful moments with NAFO members.
Padmabhushan K.S Chitra andCinema Actress Anjali Nair congratulated NAFO for the efforts taken in conducting online Kalotsavam amidst Covid Pandemic related restrictions and conveyed best wishes to all participants.
NAFO’s General Secretary Sri. Vijayakumar Menon welcomed the guests to the online inauguration of Kalotsavam program and handed over the floor to Ms. Bhavana Menon (compere) for further navigation. Advisory Board member Sri Rajeev G Pillai delivered the felicitation address and wished good luck to all the participants. Cultural program convener Sri.Unnikrishnakurup presented the highlights of NAFO Kalotsavam 2021.He further summarized the guidelines of all the competitions which are to be conducted in 5 categories with around 100 particpants for various competitions will be held from 18th March to 21st March
NAFO Kids Nila Ajay, Nandakishore Girish entertained the online spectators with their melodious songs which were conscripted by the NAFO Ladies Wing officials. Around 100 NAFO families participated in the online inauguration function. The program concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Joint Treasurer Sri. Rajeev Nair.
