Greetings!
We are delighted to announce that a significant milestone have been achieved with Snehasparsham project benefits reaching to around 64 eligible beneficiaries which is (49%) of the number of targeted beneficiaries. Total amount of grant disbursement reached Rs 15.1 lakhs, excluding funding for 2 ongoing major projects (low budget house, Astronomy Lab). In Summary we are pleased to report that 10 projects have been fully completed, having reached the required number of beneficiaries.
This success is resulting from the generous financial support and unwavering cooperation received from our esteemed members, coupled with the diligent execution of the application review process by the BQC committee, completion of approval process by NGK ABEC and efficient management of disbursement of Aids by the NGI team. The grants were distributed during events conducted across various locations in Kerala.
The distribution of monetary aid covered Snehatheertham scholarships to 9 12th class and UG students, financial aids to eligible 13 institutions (namely elderly homes, Govt Aided Schools, Special need school, Supplies to sanitation workers), School kits to 20 school children, Financial Aid to 7 cancer and 6 kidney dialysis patents and Financial support to 4 singled elderly women. Our mission to complete the remaining 10 projects and reach out to 54 eligible beneficiaries is progressing steadily, and we remain dedicated to achieving our goals.
Our outreach events, held in Padma Café Trivandrum on May 23rd, NSS Town North Alappuzha on June 16th, G.R.M.M. NSS Karayogam Hall Kayamkulam on July 27th, and Hotel WYTE PORTICO Adoor on August 21st and few more events planned in Oct have been instrumental in ensuring the effective distribution of aid. Each event has showcased our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
